THE ALBUM COVER ZINE

A Love Letter to Visual Music.

Not how the music sounds - but how it looks in my memory.

This hand-drawn collection celebrates album art as its own language - where colors, characters, and designs speak louder than lyrics. Each illustration recreates iconic covers, some from beloved albums, others chosen purely for their visual power.

Printed in vibrant four-color risography in Japan (expanded from its Canadian first edition), the technique elevates these drawings into something extraordinary: part artisanal zine, part photographic-quality tribute. The riso's rich layers and accidental imperfections make each piece feel alive, honoring the unsung artists who make music visible.

This isn't about what plays on the record, but what stays in your eyes - those bold shapes, haunting faces, and impossible colors that burn into your memory. The four-color process captures every nostalgic hue, transforming my hand-drawn lines into something that pulses with the energy of the original covers.

Music saved my life. These riso-printed images are how I remember the soundtrack.
